Our activity started over 25 years ago under the name of INTERCARGO, although in 1998 our company was renamed “Transitos Internacionales INTERCARGO 1999, S.A.” but the name “INTERCARGO” was used for commercial purposes.

From the start, INTERCARGO was defined as a transportation company that specialized in air and sea freight. Over time, and due to market needs, the company became increasingly more specialized in consolidated freighting, expanding its range of services almost daily and opening new delegations, whereby consolidated freighting made up 90% of the total business volume.

Today, our clients can have their shipments sent through either of the logistics bases located in Barcelona and Valencia, leaving it to us to find the fastest and most efficient way at no additional cost to our clients.

Currently, INTERCARGO has its own infrastructure in Barcelona, Valencia and Algeciras, and a commercial office in Bilbao, therefore covering Spanish territory.

With over 50 direct import and export destinations, we cover over 175 destinations around the world, including the majority of East Mediterranean ports, the entire Arabian Gulf and Far East, Cuba and Mexico. Our priority is to continue to provide solutions to our clients and extend our range of services. This is why INTERCARGO is constantly entering new markets in a professional and reliable manner with the invaluable assistance of our collaborators who ensure a fast, safe and economical delivery of your goods. INTERCARGO is advancing day by day in the area of new technologies, which is why we have developed a simple by effective work tool in our web site, that is easy to use, and that is above all useful to our clients. Our clients can consult departure information for the current month, send us their reservations, loading instructions, consult our tariffs, which are continually updated, and request any type of information, without the need for telephone calls or long waits, but simply by connecting to our web site. Within a maximum of 30 minutes, they will receive confirmation via email of their reservation, instructions and/or answers to their queries. In the near future we hope to develop this service further where our clients can receive confirmation that the merchandise has departed with just the container number and/or b/l, can view their invoice, and offer other advantages that will help us give you a better and more comprehensive service.
